This Egyptian pendant is a gorgeous piece of jewelry from Egypt from the 1980s. It is made of gold plated silver and features a lovely carnelian cabochon. The front of the pendant has the protective phrase MashAllah (The Will of God). overlaid on the secret compartment locket. The locket opens to reveal a space for you to put what you would like, a picture of your loved one, a momento, a prayer, whatever can fit in there. The locket closes securely. The pendant has a wide bail so can be used with all kinds of chains or ribbon. The pendant is marked in several places with the Egyptian hallmark and assay marks for 90% pure silver.
